After sixteen months, the user-specific functions of the Transformers Universe toy database are finally back in business and at your convenience. These are:

Your own individual lists: once again every registered user is able to put any figure in our toy database onto one of two lists, a have-list to show your collection, and a want-list to keep track of figures you’re still after. You can add figures to either list on the Toy DB Results page (click the grey boxes on the right of each figure) or via the individual Toy DB Info pages. If you want an overview of your have-list, simply click the checkbox “Search only within your own collection” on the Toy DB Search page. For your want-list, click the checkbox “Search only within your Wanted-List”. To see both lists at once, click both checkboxes. You can also see your list (without pictures) on the My Checklist page, where you can also set your list’s privacy status. If your list is public, it can be viewed (but not edited, of course) by other users via the Toy DB Main page.

Note for everyone who used this function on the old site: I backed up everything before switching to the new system, so if you want your old lists restored, send me a message via the contact form with your previous username from the old site, as well as your current username, and I’ll put the data back in. Just remember that you need to update whatever changes you’ve made in your collection since December 31, 2023.

Users rate figures: another function restored, every registered user can now rate any figure in our toy database, giving it a rating ranging from 1 star (terrible) to 5 stars (amazing). Rating is done by clicking on the stars on the figure’s Toy DB Info Page. The average rating for every figure will be displayed there, and on the Toy DB Results page as well.

Good news, everybody. Over a year after migrating to the new content management system, the New TFU site now finally features a fully incorporated Toy Database. No longer a separate module, the Toy DB functions are now fully integrated and we will soon begin work to bring back the user-oriented functions like figure ratings and personalized want- and have-lists. There might be some formatting bugs still, but everything else is up and running.

Liebe Transformers Fan Gemeinde. Die Teutonicons starten ein großes Experiment. In Zeiten wo uns Social Media immer mehr nervt und der Alltag immer stressiger wird, wollen wir die Internet-Uhr ein wenig zurückdrehen, mal alles etwas entschleunigen, und einen Raum schaffen, wo man entspannt und Algorithmus-frei über unser Lieblings-Hobby reden kann.

January 12, 2025 - As of today Transformers-Universe.com is dialing back its presence on social media platforms. Chief reason for that is, of course, the current policy changes enacted by Meta, especially the unapologetic brown-nosing in regards to a certain orange turd that a certain country has inexplicably decided should become their king. So there will be no more new TFU content on either Facebook, Instagram, nor Threads for the foreseeable future. 

I am fully aware that this will have little to no impact on Meta's policies, but I want to be able to look myself in the mirror in the morning. You can still find us on Discord, YouTube, and Bluesky.
