A member of the Green Tiger Tribe, Cringer was saved from a Parek-Narr attack by a young Prince Adam and afterwards became his devoted companion for life. He assisted Adam during his quest to unite both halves of the Power Sword of He and afterwards was enhanced by it’s power to become Battle Cat, the fighting tiger of He-Man. Cringer is one of only a handful of allies who knows Adam’s secret and fights alongside the other Masters of the Universe, carrying He-Man into battle against the forces of evil.
Review: Every He-Man needs a Battle Cat, it's really that simple. The original vintage Battle Cat was basically a statue, though. The new Classics version, however, is not only a good deal larger, but also fully articulated. All four legs move, as does the head, and the mouth opens, too. Like the original, he comes with removable battle armor, underneath of which he is a green striped tiger. Fans have used this "naked" Battle Cat as Cringer for years, though he really does look a bit too fierce for that. We'd eventually get a real Cringer later on in the Classics line. The Battle Cat mold was reused for the MotU Origins line, too.
Bottom line: the best version of Battle Cat so far. A must-have if you have any He-Man figure in your collection.
