Hench was another of Medical Specialist´s experiments, downsizing a regular bot into a smaller form to conserve energy. Amazingly, he kept his original strength, but he also found he felt the need to constantly show off and tell everyone how strong he was for his size. Medical Specialist dubbed it the very first example of ´short bot syndrome´. Armed with a short-range SMOG gun for close combat concealment.
Please be aware that this is not a review, as I have never had this figure in hand. The pictures were provided by my good buddy James aka Caked-Up.
Remarks: iGear was among the more controversial early Third Party companies, as many of their figures were basically knock-offs of Masterpiece figures. They did have some original figures as well, though, as they were among the first 3P companies to take a crack at the G1 Mini-Bots. Case in point, Hench, a third party version of Brawn. Scale-wise he is somewhere between CHUG and Masterpiece scale and comes with a face mask, so you can have cartoon or toy face, your choice. Did you know the word Henchman used to mean "Horse Attendant"? This little pearl of trivia is free with this non-review. Enjoy!Picture Gallery:
