Please be aware that this is not a review, as I have never had this figure in hand. The pictures were provided by my good buddy Flo and I have reviewed other versions of this toy, which are are linked below for reference.
Remarks: Sixshot is a straight-up repaint of Energon Shockblast, whom I have previously reviewed. No tooling changes have been made to this figure, only the colors have changed. Interestingly enough, despite having a rather large part in the Energon / Superlink cartoon (which was primarily produced by Takara), Sixshot was not part of Takara's Superlink line of toys, not even as a "USA import". He was solely available in Hasbro's Energon line.
In the cartoon Sixshot was the brother of Shockblast and still incarcerated by the time Shockblast died. Sixshot was then lied to by other Decepticons, being told that it was Optimus Prime who killed his brother (it was actually Megatron/Galvatron). Set on revenge, Sixshot joined Galvatron's forces, but ended up being killed by the same guy who killed his brother, never learning that he had been lied to. This figure (with a slightly different paintjob) was later repurposed for Shattered Glass Shockwave.
