You have to know where you are before you know what to do.
Nothing escapes his notice...and now it is even more difficult for the Decepticons to notice him! Having been exposed to Forestonite, Streetstar has gained the ability to phase through solid objects at will. Though not a Generation 2 Transformer by design, he now feels more at home among the other G2 Autobots due to his new abilities. Stationed at Autobot City, he, and the other Forestonite enhanced Autobots from the Prime era, fight alongside Spark and the rest of his next generation comrades!
Remarks: Streetstar is a repaint of Universe Prowl, so there is little I can write about this mold that hasn’t already been written in the reviews of Prowl, Silverstreak, and Rapido. So just some words on the differences here. Streetstar is based on the unreleased G2 version of the G1 Protectobot Streetwise, so he got a nearly all-black paint job. No changes were made to the actual mold, so he’s basically Prowl in black. Whether you like the black look is, of course, entirely up to you.
According to the G2: Redux comic book Streetwise was the only Protectobot to survive the final showdown between Defensor and Menasor. Joining the G2 Autobots in battle, he was exposed to the Forestonite gas and gained his new black paintjob and the power to phase through solid objects in the process. He was then renamed Streetstar (though he apparently didn’t like the new name) and decided to stay on Earth with the other G2 Autobots to help in their fight.
Not much more I can write here. Unlike other Botcon exclusives Streetstar didn’t get a new head or any mold changes, just the new paint job. He looks good to me, but whether or not the black repaint is worth the rather hefty price tag of a Botcon Exclusive figure is something you’ll have to decide for yourself.
