Thrust was great to have around during the early days of the war, when the Decepticons won victory after victory. His thundering engines and shouted threats terrified the few Autobots that stood against them. It wasn't until later, when the Autobots got organized enough to put up a real fight, that Thrust began screaming like an alpha unit and fleeing at the first sign of danger.

Remarks: Thrust is yet another Transformer based on the mold of Classics Starscream. He’s got the conehead of Classics Ramjet and new wings, but apart from that there is very little difference. So no full review here, just some basic remarks.

Let’s go back in time to the year 2007. Of the six original G1 Seekers, three had seen release in the Classics series (the third being Skywarp), which left fans clamoring for the other three. And then they came... as Botcon exclusives. With that set being quite limited and the individual figures being sold for horrendous amounts on eBay, many fans weren’t happy. During the following years the figures were also available as Japanese imports from the Henkei! Henkei! series (with slight mold changes), but again, quite expensive. Only now with the Generations series do we see Thrust and Dirge released at retail price, so the only one still missing from the complete Seeker sixpack is an affordable Thundercracker.

Thrust has all the pros and cons of the standard Classic Seekers, the only extraordinary thing about him are his wings (just like they were in G1). The VTOL engines are separate pieces that can be fastened to his wings or his rear fins and he wears his classic maroon/black paint job. So the bottom line, possibly the most interesting version of this mold yet, but considering the number of uses this figure has seen already, it’s getting a bit stale. For completists only.
