Please be aware that this is not a review, as I have never had these figures in hand. The pictures were provided by my good buddy Flo and I have reviewed other versions of thess toys, which are are linked below for reference.

Remarks: While Hasbro was satisfied with giving us but two different versions of the Armada Air Defense Team, Takara took it one step further and gave us plenty of variations of the team that formed the mighty Star Saber weapon. The X-Dimension repaints are but one of them, being sold as non-exclusive repaints alongside the regular version in Japanese markets in 2002. Their combined form is still, of course, the Star Saber, though the Transformers Collectors Club repurposed them for one of their Transtech stories as the "Pyro Saber".
