Robot Mode: Legends Jetfire is a pretty straight-forward miniature of his larger cousin Ultra Jetfire / Sky Shadow with the same strengths and weaknesses overall. The figure is pretty posable and, considering the small size, his detailing is decent. Movement is a bit inhibited by the wings that make up the shoulders, but unlike with the larger version you can fold up the wings if you want. Doesn't really give you a broader range of movement, but changes the look. Legends Jetfire doesn't have any weapons and lacks the Cyberkey gimmick, of course, but overall he's a decent little guy in robot mode.

Alternate Mode: Jetfire becomes a military transport plane and does a good job of it. The only slight problem this mode has is that the fists from the robot mode are visible on the turbines, but that can be disregarded. Overall the jet mode doesn't offer much in the way of play value, but its looks are decent.

Remarks: I'm not a big fan of the Legends class of figures, but seeing as I already bought the Sky Shadow repaint of Jetfire's Ultra incarnation, this little fellow was the only way to add the name Jetfire to my Cybertron ranks without dishing out too much cash. That's not to say Jetfire is a bad figure, it's just that I can't really get too much out of the Legends class. If you're looking for a decent miniature Transformer, though, Jetfire can go onto the short list.
