This warrior waved the flag of revolt at Flame Convoy on Animatros. His fangs can become steel swords and his tail can become a sharp projectile. In beast mode he races through like a hurricane and captures his quarry. Even in the dark of night his eyes are powerful enough to see for thousands of miles. Once he and Flame Convoy were friends. What could have led them to take such divergent paths?

Robot Mode: I like Fangwolf's robot mode a lot. It looks humanoid, yet retains quite a few beast elements, especially in the wolf head that functions as the right hand. The posability is excellent and the detailling is quite good. The only real complaint I have here is that the white colouring obscures many of the details, especially when it comes to the face. A few more bits of colour would have worked wonders here. Fangwolf can use his force chip / cyberkey to extend golden fangs from his wolf head. A minor drawback, the fangs don't stay out unless you keep the force chip pushed into the slot. All in all, though, a good robot mode.

Beast Mode: Not too big a mystery, Fangwolf transforms into a wolf. Like all of the Cybertron Beast-Transformers the wolf manages to look organic and sleep despite having multiple robotic parts to it. Once again the white colouring works against it a bit, obscuring details, but all in all the wolf mode is pretty good. The rifle from the robot mode becomes the wolf's tail and he can store his force chip in a holder on his hindleg. The force chip gimmick works in this mode as well, of course. Bottom line a good beast mode.

Remarks: Fangwolf was one of the major players on Animatros, the Jungle Planet, having been one of Flame Convoy's lieutenants before joining the renegades alongside Ligerjack. He later joined the Cybertrons/Autobots on the quest for the other planet forces. As a figure Fangwolf is quite good, but a different colour scheme would have suited him a lot better. I can recommend him for fans of beast Transformers, except for the colour thing he is really good.
