Keep your eyes on the enemy to stay ahead of him!
Storm Jet is capable of flying at very high speed and loves to chase down Decepticons who think they are faster than he is. Although he has a stormy temper, he manages to control it most of the time, but woe to the Decepticon who pushes him beyond his patience. He conducts reconnaissance missions, deftly avoiding any missile attacks if he's spotted by the enemy.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Storm Jet looks very manga-influenced, his huge gauntlets and winged head kind of reminding me of something from a Gundam Wing episode or such. He also holds some resemblance to the G1 Jetfire, both in robot and in jet mode. He can launch missiles from his gauntlets and is very posable, though he suffers a bit from his short legs, which can't hold his upper body upright in some poses. You can also fold his legs together and swing out the jets attached to them, giving him a kind of hover mode. This is a holdover from the Beast Machines version of this toy, Jetstorm, a Vehicon who held such loathing for all things ground-bound that he never touched the ground himself.

Vehicle Mode: In jet mode Storm Jet also resembles G1 Jetfire, but I'm not sure how much of that is just because it has the same colour scheme. Anyway, this is a decent jet mode. You can elongate the front of the plane, giving the cockpit a kind of neck on which it can swivel left and right. This is another holdover from the Beast Machines version.

Remarks: This seems to be one of the toy designers' favourite molds, seeing as it found use as part of Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise, and Transformers Universe in multiple incarnations. It's a good mold, though, so that's fine. I got this one because it reminded me of Jetfire, though looking back some of the others look a bit better. Still, a decent Transformer.
