Series: Robots in Disguise 2.0
Allegiance: Autobot
Categories: Warrior
Year: 2017

Robot Mode: A blue and white robot with big shoulders and spoilers on top of those big shoulders. If there is any resemblance to a previous Blurr to be found, it is with Armada Blurr, especially the head design, which looks pretty nice. The articulation is average for an RID Warrior figure and he comes with a transparent laser rifle as a weapon.

While the robot mode as such has no flaws, my main problem with it is that there is absolutely nothing special about it. I can’t really think of anything more to write about it, sorry.

Alternate Mode: Blurr transforms into a white and blue sports car. The car looks pretty sleek and there are no visible robot bits anywhere. Blurr’s gun can be mounted on top or on either side. And... yeah, that’s pretty much all I can think of here. He becomes a nice-looking car.

Remarks: Blurr originally appeared in the Rescue Bots cartoon, before crossing over into the Robots in Disguise series, where he became an intern to Sideswipe. He briefly joined Team Bee during the Combiner Force phase of that series, but eventually returned to his Recue Bot buddies.

The Robots in Disguise figures, while simpler and plainer in many ways, featured many unique and wonderfully out-there designs. Sadly Blurr is not one of them. He is a rather basic car Transformer, that’s pretty much it. Or to put it another way: he is boring. Very boring. It isn’t that he has any flaws as such, it’s just that he has pretty much nothing to make him stand out in any way. So bottom line: average. Painfully average.
