He rattles the air with the roar of his jets... believes half the battle is won if the opponent is "psyched out" by his mere arrival, so he makes no attempt to be sneaky. Pompus, loud-mouthed braggart and not too brave. Sudden, powerful accelerations can topple nearby buildings. Flies at mach 2.5, can double speed in 20 seconds for up to two minutes. Carries four air-to-air missiles and two automatic missile launchers in robot Mode.

Remarks: Thrust is yet another version of the Generation 1 Seeker mold pioneered by Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker in 1984. So look there for the full review. Just some words on the differences here. The 1985 jets, which Thrust is one of, distinguished themselves from the original Seeker trio by sporting not only different colors, but different wing designs. They also kept their nosecones up in robot mode, which gave them the moniker 'Coneheads'.
Thrust is probably the Seeker with the most unusual wing design. He sports VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) engines molded into the wings. Also his tail fins are set quite a distance apart. Now I have no idea as to the aerodynamic qualities of this design, but Thrust certainly looks very cool in jet mode, no doubt about that. The design falls apart a bit in robot mode, though, where the wing surfaces are suppposed to be near the lower legs, but kind of hang right off the hip, no matter which way you flip them, and that doesn't look so hot, at least in my opinion. So the bottom line: Thrust is certainly a very interesting design, but moreso in jet mode than in robot mode. Apart from that, he shares all the advantages and disadvantages of the standard Seeker design.
