Compassion is the Autobots' downfall.
Cyclonus is a huge and emotionless air warrior. He has vast resources of power and can draw strength in direct proportion to his need. Cyclonus is equipped with nuclear-powered turbine engines which enable him to reach speeds greater than Mach 2. In robot mode he carries an oxidating laser that fuses an enemy robot's internal mechanisms. Cyclonus has no weaknesses and no interests other than conquest.

Robot Mode: Cyclonus is one of the more posable robots of G1 and nicely detailed, too. Some of his proportions are a bit strange, as his fists are huge and his head is as well. It doesn't hurt the figure much, though, you simply need to get used to it. The resemblance to his TV incarnation is quite good, though TV Cyclonus didn't have so big a head. Still, a good likeness. All in all a decent robot mode with no obvious flaws, but no outstanding features, either.

Alternate Modes: Cyclonus transforms into an interstellar jet for an alternate mode. The jet looks sleek and dangerous, though it has no obvious weapons. A landing gear can be unfolded from underneath and the wings can fold up for storage. All in all a good, if unspectacular vehicle mode.

Missing Parts: I'm missing Cyclonus' handgun.

Remarks: Cyclonus was created during Transformers the Movie from the remains of a dead Decepticon, either Bombshell or one of the Seekers (start your discussion here). He didn't play a big role during the Movie, but was one of the main Decepticons during Season 3 of the cartoon and served as Galvatron's lieutenant. In Season 4 he was turned into a Targetmaster, his weapon replaced by a Nebulan. As a toy Cyclonus isn't exactly a revelation, but one of the better figures created during that year. A good likeness to one of the more prominent Transformers characters, so if you're a fan of Season 3 of G1, Cyclonus is well worth getting
