Robot Mode: You can only call this one here a robot mode by the slimmest of margins. The upper part of the vehicle mode flips up when you roll the Cyberslammer across the floor and shows the upper body of Optimus sculpted in on the inside. It's a simplified but recognizable version of the Movie leader. Posability is pretty much nonexistent. Optimus can move his arms, but they don't stay in position but rather snap back down. So not much to do here past the initial gimmick of it flipping up.

Alternate Mode: There are only so many red trucks you can review for a single toyline before you want to take one of those non-safety-standard smoke stacks from the G1 days and stab your eye out. Well, it's not that bad, really, but I can't think of anything to write here. It's a red truck. It's more or less recognizable as the truck Optimus uses as a vehicle mode. And if you roll it across the floor, it stands up into robot mode (provided you put the little button in the right position). What more do you need to know?

Remarks: In order to maximize the merchandising potential of the Transformers Movie, Hasbro produced Transformers toys for an age group not usually among the target audience for Transformers. Kids of about 3 years of age, whereas the normal Transformers figures are usually 5 and up. Among these toys targeted at the very young are the Cyberslammers. Personally I don't think much of them, but at 31 I'm pretty far outside the target group. They're a neat idea to get the little ones excited about Transformers, though, so I can hardly complain. And seeing as I already own most versions of Optimus Prime from the Movie line I thought, what the heck, let's add one more so the Cyberslammers are represented here, too. They're fun.
