Arcee is a born hunter. Before joining the Autobots, she passed her time tracking turbofoxes on Cybertron with some of the other speedsters, taking great pride in approaching as close as she could to them, quickly and silently, before tagging them with her bow. She's brought those skills with her to Earth, where she passes the days stalking unsuspecting Decepticons until she draws close enough to strike.

Robot Mode: Deluxe Arcee features the first female Transformer without a humanoid face. Not sure if that's important, just wanted to mention it. The sculpting of the body is still undeniably female, but thankfully no boob-missiles (see here for why that is an important issue). Getting serious, Arcee features a fine amount of detailing and posability, so no complaints on that front. What I don't like is the front wheel halves on her shoulders. According to the instructions you should fold them forward, but that looks pretty stupid and restricts Arcee's arm movement quite a bit. It's better to leave them standing out sideways, though that isn't a hundred percent perfect, either. Could be better in that area. Otherwise, though, few complaints. Arcee's is stable despite having high heels on her feet and her weapon, once again a crossbow, looks pretty cool, too. So all in all a good robot mode with one obvious flaw.

Alternate Mode: Once again Arcee transforms into a Japanese-style bullet bike. The bike is larger, obviously, as we're in the Deluxe class, but the overall look is close to her predecessor. The bike is nicely sculpted and offers quite a bit of detailing, including a license plate with the numbers '7407', once again rubbing in the fact that America got to see the Movie in July while we in Germany had to wait until August. Grrr! The missile from Arcee's crossbow can be added as an exhaust. Arcee is big enough for Scout- and Deluxe-class figures to ride her (and not in the dirty way, damn it!). Overall a nice vehicle mode.

Remarks: I'm a bit of two minds about this figure. On one hand I like it a lot. It looks nice, is well detailed and posable, has a realistic alt mode, everything I like in a figure. Still, there is something about it that turns me off a bit. Can't quite put my finger on it. Still, the first original Arcee sculpt since Energon does nicely. Arcee didn't appear in the Movie (though she was apparently in the first draft of the script), but did make a cameo appearance in the Prequel Comic. As a figure she isn't a must-have, but she's nice. Mildly recommended.
