Description: Once again we have an old G1 Transformer that can't go by his own name any longer. Hardshell was originally called Bombshell, of course. Not sure whether Hasbro lost the copyright or just deemed the term offensive, but whatever. Hardshell it is, one of the original three Insecticons together with Shrapnel (who also lost his name and is now called Insecticon and Kickback (all of which are available as Robot Heroes). Apart from the name thing he looks pretty perfect, so no complaints about the figure itself.
Hardshell is paired with Perceptor, the brainy Autobot scientist. I don't think those two ever met during the cartoon series, but since Perceptor was around in season 2, it's possible. Not the worst pairing out there. Perceptor as a figure also looks pretty good and close to his animated counterpart. I was never a big fan of the character, but he looks good and cute as a Robot Hero. So no real complaints about this duo here except for the name thing.
