Universe Animated Bumblebee

Robot Mode: Legends Bumblebee is, of course, a smaller version of Animated Bumblebee. The resemblance is pretty good, as is the posability. Legends BB doesn't have the bigger one's stingers, of course, and is less detailed, but for his size he's doing a pretty good job. The figure is put together a bit differently, but unless you're really looking, you don't really notice. So bottom line, a pretty good robot mode.

Alternate Mode: Of course BB turns into a little yellow sports car with a police siren on top, just like his bigger cousin. The car is decent, the only thing that bugs me a little is those big holes in the front, where the knees fold out during transformation. All in all, though, a decent vehicle mode.

Remarks: Now the first thing that comes to mind, of course, is the question why the Legends version of Animated Bumblebee is released under the Universe banner instead of the Animated one. The answer? I have no idea. Not a single clue. Maybe Hasbro just likes to confuse the fans. Whatever the case, though, this tiny version of BB is pretty well-made and finally gives Animated Lugnut someone to play with at the correct scale. So while I'm not exactly a big fan of Legends figures, this one here isn't bad at all. Recommended to all BB fans.
