Reveal the Shield Cyclonus

Remarks: After Henkei! Henkei! Cyclonus and Universe Cyclonus, this is the third incarnation of the mold I’ve bought. It’s also the best, in my opinion, but another full review really isn’t warranted here. Suffice to say that between the pink-chrome-flashiness of Henkei! Cyclonus and the bland-and-boring greyness of Universe Cyclonus, this figure here manages a very nicely balanced paint job that is close both to that of the original toy as well as the animated cartoon character. He was only available in the Reveal the Shield Battle in Space set along with a bright red repaint of Classics Rodimus and a metallic Matrix of Leadership (not sure why that was in there, as this was pre-Prime Rodimus and neither figure can hold it). Also included was a comic, showing a missing scene of sorts from the 1986 Transformers movie where Cyclonus hunts the Autobots (including Rodimus) across space. Not terribly exciting, but a nice addition. So the bottom line is: best Cyclonus yet, an awesome figure. Not a must-have if you already own one of the previous two, but even then it’s a definite improvement in my mind.
