Even before the war, Cliffjumper was constantly spoiling for a fight. The Decepticons just gave him an excuse. He's been bending fenders and smashing heads for years now, and the fun never stops. Despite his short temper, he gets along well with the other Autobots, who appreciate his eagerness to take the first shot in every battle.

Remarks: Cliffjumper is - as is often the case - a repaint of Bumblebee from the same toyline, so look there for the full review. Just a few words on the differences here. Cliffjumper is not a simple repaint, he was gifted a new head that is a pretty good likeness to Cliffjumper’s various appearances on TV. The rest of the figure is identical to Bumblebee, just with all the yellow replaced by red.

And that’s pretty much it, really. Personally I like the Cliffjumper version of this mold better than the Bumblebee one, but that’s just subjective preference, of course. Both look cool and seeing as BB and Cliffjumper are almost always repaints of each other, it sort of makes sense for both of them to appear in the Generations line as well. You don’t necessarily need both of them, but they look good next to each other and are fun figures. So the bottom line: fans of pre-Earth modes should own at least one version of this mold and it doesn’t hurt to own both, either.
