Animated Optimus Prime (Sons of Cybertron)

Remarks: Sons of Cybertron Optimus Prime uses the same mold as Animated Battle Begins Optimus Prime, whom I have previously reviewed. So I will only focus on the differences here. Much like his package mate Sons of Cybertron Rodimus, many of Optimus Prime’s parts have been replaced by translucent plastic. In fact it’s mostly just his grey parts which remain unchanged, all the blue and red parts are now translucent, as is his battle axe.

And... yeah, that’s pretty much it. So bottom line: a great version of a pretty great mold. Only downside is that the translucent plastic seems somewhat more fragile than the original stuff. Still, fully recommended to Animated fans.
