Taste the cruel bite of my ruthless weaponry.
Thundercracker is a sleek high performance Joint Strike Fighter. In combat he utilizes two awesome offensive weapons: a huge laser sword for close hand-to-hand action and shoulder mounted high energy cannons for long range bombardments. Thundercracker is constantly trying to prove himself; working diligently to gain the attention of Megatron to get that positive reinforcement he so desperately seeks. But alas, his efforts are ignored and often taken for granted. With his frustration ever mounting he's forced to attempt increasingly risky and reckless maneuvers that put him in harms way and endanger the lives of other Decepticons. One day he'll take one risk too many and a smoking pile of ash will be his reward.

Remarks: Thundercracker is a repaint of Armada Starscream, so for a full low-down on the figure look there. Just some general remarks here. Thundercracker did appear in the Armada TV series, though not under that name. He is the powered-up version of Starscream (hence the Japanese name "Super Starscream"). His Minicon, too, is a repaint of Starscream's Swindle. Still, as far as repaints go, Thundercracker isn't half-bad. Unlike Skywarp he didn't get any new parts or other structural changes, just a new colour which I like better than Starscream's, but not as much as Skywarp's. Bottom line, I got Thundercracker to complete my Armada Seeker collection, so I can recommend him to those who don't mind to have a few repaints in their collection. If you just want to get one of this model, get Skywarp.
