RID 2001 Scourge (Spychanger)

Robot Mode: Spychanger Scourge is an excellent likeness to his larger cousin Black Convoy / Scourge. Not only that, but the transformation sequence is virtually identical. I'm kinda sad that they didn't give this little fellow here a small version of Black Convoy's sword, but that's just detail. I wanted the little version of Black Convoy and I got it, mission accomplished.

Alternate Mode: The same holds true for the vehicle mode, there is practically no telling it apart from the larger version except for the non-transparent windows. A very good miniaturization.

Remarks: The RID line introduced a subline known as Spychangers, small robot cars who appeared in the cartoon as (you guessed it) spies and specialists for delicate missions. All the 'normal' Spychangers were repaints from the G2 Gobot line, but it also included miniature versions of the main RID cast such as Scourge.

Scourge was one of the primary characters of the RID cartoon and so I wanted his miniature version as well as the full-scale one. In this size he is almost at cartoon scale when compared to Fortress Maximus and can ride in Maximus' cockpit. One of the finest Micro-Transformers I ever saw.
