There's not a lot to be said about Silverstreak that he hasn't already said himself. In fact, there's not a lot to be said about anything that he hasn't already said, because he never stops talking. Ever. He talks to his partners on guard duty. He talks during his charge cycles. When he's alone, he talks to himself. In battle, he chats with his opponent. Despite his formidable weaponry, Decepticons prefer not to fight him mostly because they get sick of talking to him.

Remarks: Silverstreak is a repaint with some minor mold changes of Universe Prowl, so look for the full review there. Here's just some words on the differences. Apart from the paint job the main differences between the two figures are the fact that Silverstreak does not have police lights in car mode and I think the head's a bit different, too, though that might just be the different paint. Anyway, the paint job on Silverstreak looks a lot better than Prowl's does, so 'Streak is already ahead of Prowl by several points. Unlike Prowl, he doesn't look unfinished or anything and the combination of black, grey and red really looks good.

In the first season of the G1 cartoon series Bluestreak (as Silverstreak was originally called) was the fast-talking jokester of the Autobots, always looking to lighten a grim mood with bad puns. He faded into the background as the series progressed and is today best-known for the fact that he's no longer known by his original name. Well, better than having no legacy at all.

Silverstreak is by far the superior incarnation of this mold so I can only say this: If you intend to buy just one version of this mold, then Silverstreak is your man. Prowl might be the more iconic character, but Silverstreak is the better-looking toy by leaps and bounds.
