Robot Mode: Jazz is among the more posable Legends-class figures I've seen yet, but not extraordinarily so. He can move his arms at the shoulders and has hip and knee joints for his legs. No elbows, but that's hardly surprising in this size class. Sculpting and detailing is done pretty good, but again nothing particularly outstanding here. The arms are sculpted quite well, but only when you look at them from the front. His face is done pretty well, even though he does look a bit grumpy ("I belong in the Deluxe class, damn it!"). So overall a nice little robot, but that's pretty much it.

Alternate Mode: Jazz transforms into his familiar Porsche alternate mode. The resulting car looks okay for its size, but little more than that. I'd have liked coloured side windows at least, as things stand they're merely sculpted in and remain white. The racing stripes and overall sculpt are well done, but still. It's a tiny little toy car. Nothing more than that.

Remarks: Surprisingly enough Jazz, one of the favourite classic characters in Transformer history, has yet to be included in either the Classics or the new Universe line in anything but this tiny little Legends incarnation here. I'm a big fan of Jazz, so even though I don't particularly care for Legends figures, I had to get this one (and because he was among the first Universe figures to come out here in Germany). Apart from that, though, this figure offers only very limited play value. It's a Legends figure. Averagely posable, averagely detailed, nothing extraordinary about it at all. So unless you're a big fan of Jazz or just adore Legends figures for some reason or other, this figure here definitely falls under the "nice but not necessary" category.
