Seeing as we already had He-Man's trusty steed Battle Cat in the MegaConstrux line, it was a given that we would also get Panthor, ride of choice for He.Man's arch-enemy Skeletor. Panthor is, unsurprisingly, a repaint of Battle Cat, though I guess the more appropriate word would be "re-flock". Much like his vintage counterpart, MegaConstrux Panthor has been flocked to simulate purple fur. For some reason I find that hilarious and I love it. Apart from the flocking, it's the same figure as Battle Cat, including the somewhat annoying hole in the head, where the battle mask plugs in. Thanks to the dark purple fur, though, the hole is less noticeable here than it was on Battle Cat. No other changes. Panthor comes with a small purple platform where you can plug him in, so he can rear up and perform other poses.
The Skeletor figure accompanying Panthor is the OG Skeletor and he comes with a big purple battle ax as his only weapon (though he does have a scabbard for a sword on his back). I just love the level of detail MegaConstrux has put into these tiny, tiny figures and Skeletor looks adorable with his little hands clipped to Panthor's handles.
So bottom line: if you are a Masters fan, you need Skeletor and if you have Skeletor, you need Panthor. So here they are, well worth the price.
